Real-Time Lighting with Lumen

Bar: Day

Using assets from the "Saloon" environment provided on Fab.com, I modified some of the textures and prop placements in order to practice with lighting different times of day within an interior environment.

Using the same assets from the "Saloon" environment provided on Fab.com, I created a lighting set up which blended interior and exterior light sources.

Environmental Lighting

I used a variety of assets from both Quixel and Fab.com, as well as the landscape building tools within Unreal Engine in order to create and light an environment telling the story of a traveler camping out at an abandoned mystic site in the forest.

Environmental Cinematics

Beetle Door

In order to practice with the various camera tools in Unreal Engine, I created this short cinematic of a door opening within Unreal engine. I sought to create a mysterious, yet whimsical atmosphere surrounding the door and both environments.

Basic Blueprinting
 

"Siege!"

"Siege" is a small game I created in order to become more familiar with blueprinting tools and functions within unreal engine. I sought to create a compact, fixed screen game in which the player seeks to reach the crown. I experimented with a variety of enemy and obstacle types. I became familiar with Blueprint Communication and HUD setup/integration throughout this process as well.
